It was a fantastic concert!
David Sylvian
The World Is Everything Tour
2007.OCT.14.SU.
Tvornica, Zagreb HR EU
Recorded and edited by Gime.
No pauses before the tracks, except the last two (the encores). So the gig
was fully recorded without dropping any second. ;-)
It's a big pity that the track 14 is just here to be informed that there
was a first encore, but because of a bug of the recording application
(or the phone?) it was fully recorded as white noise. :-(((
Lineage:
-> Nokia E50 Series 60 R3 mobile phone
+ ALON mp3 dictaphone application
(16 bit 8 kHz PCM WAV)
-> BeSweet 1.5b31 + BeLight
(to convert to "proper" WAV: stereo 16 bit 8 kHz PCM)
-> WaveLab 5.01
(to make the audio more enjoyable)
-> Nero Burning ROM
(to make an AudioCD image)
-> Windows Media Player
(to make the mp3-s from the CD-image)
Thanks to
Alone With Strangers
and
Renzo
for the help and the ideas on editing...

Astrology...
When a planet is closer to the Sun than 17 arc minutes, then the planet is in the Heart of the Sun (in Cosimo), and this position is very good for that planet, it's a state like between rulership and exaltation.
Now here's a photo of the Heart of the Sun! ;)

... David Sylvian's 2003 album, "Blemish".
I successfully bet down the price ;) from HUF 4000 (EUR ~16 or USD ~22.2) to HUF 3000 (EUR ~12 or USD ~16.7) as it's a used one.

Hi!
I just bought my ticket for David's concert in Zagreb, 2007.OCT.14.SU.! :)
This will be the very first time in my life to see him live, although I'm a fan since spring 1988, when I heard Japan's "Quiet life" album first time...
So now I'm quite happy with it ;), and that's why I post this...
Attached is the photo of the virgin ticket and the cheque.

Finding my very favourite band, Japan (David Sylvian, Steve Jansen, Mick Karn, Richard Barbieri, Rob Dean) on the web this august indicated a strong wish to find my old bandmates. Just today I've met one of them (György Reé, the clarinetist; http://www.bcq.hu), and we took out of the box a very old videocassette that layed there for about 15-16 years...
Including some others it features a Jurix (later Camera Obscura) concert, and as a sudden wish I recorded about one and a half minutes of it from the TV screen with my Nokia N90 phone, as we played our song "Jurix".
At the drums its me, 3D Gime. ;-)
Pronouncing Jurix:
The JU in the beginnig pronounced like YOU.
The R pronounced like R in the word "road".
The IX pronounced like IX in the word "mix".
First some pictures, and then the video:

Hi!
This is my first post on vox.com and it's from my Nokia N90, via email.
It is a test...
Attached is a photo of my yesterday breakfast, what was buttered scrambled eggs (vajas rántotta) with cream (tejföl) on the top, scattered with red pepper (paprika) and freshly ground black pepper (bors).
Üdv!
